Fox Cottage is a charming, cosy 3-bedroom , 2 bathroom cottage. It is situated in the village of Mylor Bridge, which is at the head of the picturesque Mylor Creek. Close enough to visit Falmouth too.
This centrally-located cottage is designed to offer a peaceful retreat with modern comforts. A warm, character-filled lounge with a wood-burning stove, a well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen for family meals, as well as a separate dining room and comfortable, tastefully decorated bedrooms. Entrance: Guests usually enter by the back gate, where the car parking is. There are 10 steps down to the back door,
where the keysafe is located.
Ground Floor:
Kitchen/ diner with all the modern equipment supplied-induction hob, electric range, large fridge/freezer, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine, TV ....Patio doors leading out to the terrace.
Separate dining room, with a workplace corner.
Lounge with wood burner and TV.
Downstairs bathroom, with a shower over the bath, WC and basin.
First Floor:
Yellow bedroom with a double bed and small TV.
Blue bedroom with a king size bed and large TV.
Twin room with 2 single beds.
Upstairs bathroom with a shower cubicle, WC and basin.
Fox Cottage features private secure sitting out areas front and back. In good weather you can choose to sit on the spacious, secluded front lawn or the enclosed patio area at the back.
Guests benefit from fast broadband (60mb/s) and the mobile signals are strong.
There is a large playing field nearby for both infants and football, and a tennis court. There are various creekside walks from Fox Cottage, a great cycle-trail at Devoran (10 minutes’ drive, secure storage for bikes at Fox and cycle hire on the trail).
The wonderful Helford River and spectacular gardens are just a 20 minute drive. Just 15 mins from the cottage is the harbour town of Falmouth with its, golden sandy swimming beaches, Pendennis Castle, National Maritime Museum, shops, and galleries.
